Liposomes are unique phospholipid vesicles developed to ensure that active ingredients reach target tissues and cells at an effective level. Phospholipids form the structural basis of the cell membranes of advanced living organisms. Liposomes mimic the structure of cells.

Liposomes are carrier systems with both hydrophilic and lipophilic components, similar to the phospholipid structure of the cell membrane.
